Timelessness Dances

Part of a broader research, which explores the relation between sound and movement, music and dance, Timelessness Dances is a modular, choreographic project conceived in the form of an itinerary, where every stage evolves from the previous one, and it generates performative objects, in constant evolution, with an ever changing number of performers.
Adriana Borriello lets the bodies on stage oscillate between rigorous composition and instant invention. They weave together with the musical score by Belgian composer Thierry De Mey and the sound captured and live processed by sound artist Edoardo Maria Bellucci. ‘The music of movement’ emerges from the interaction between the bodies and a live acoustic feedback system, which invites to experience dance as a form of listening.
