SOMEWHERE was born from a reflection on how the spaces we live in condition human relationships, and on how some of these, particularly non-places, can intensify the sense of loneliness of bodies and their possible relational voids. We are parallel existences that sometimes deviate by intersecting with each other in actual or illusory encounters, and that perceive the Other starting from their own inner boundary. A glance may ‘touch’ them, they can exchange the rhythm of their steps, but they will not share their own real or imaginary path.
SOMEWHERE wants to be a declaration of hope that the Other and I, monads in the same system, can recognise each other, find each other, welcome each other and come in contact with each other between the visible and the invisible, resonances and differences, reaching many everywhere and many nowhere. Where are we?
