OTIS – Vertical Tales is a tribute to the inventor of the lift, Otis Elisha Graves, and to the device that has revolutionised urban horizons and set infinite narratives since the mid-19th century. In this live performance, Økapi deconstructs sounds and images from the most diverse sources, and recomposes them in a multi-time suite. In the exceptional guise of a lift operator, he will take the spectator on a vertical and mental journey, from the ground floor to the 15th floor of an imaginary building.
