Are you here then? straight from the moment still ajar?
A track where lives a question that still interrogates the stage, the audience and us ourselves to understand together if there is someone on the other side of the line, if we can still touch each other, and amaze ourselves through theatre. In the second track, La voce umana (The human voice) has collected the voices of Sara and Zara, two Iranian women who participated in the community theatre project we shared with Asinitas. Two voices that turn into the ‘voice of the world hanging by a thread’ – as in Cocteau’s text – and that on stage become a testimony, a rite of passage and an occasion to celebrate 18 years of Asinitas. Track 2 is an experimental narration of a process still in full transformation: a sound space that welcomes, an inviting tablecloth spread on the ground, and a possibility of choral participation in order to multiply the traces of this infinite human voice.
‘The net only had a hole in it, and you right from there? There is no end to my astonishment, for me to withhold it’.
