Where? When? How? Maybe in this poppy field…
From Friedrich Nietzsche’s theory of eternal return to Whitney Houston’s pop universe, ‘Ça ira’ (from French, ‘this will go’) questions the path implicit in this expression. In a hybrid choreographic piece, three performers embark on a surreal and dreamlike journey, mixing contemporary dance, singing and physical theatre, against a backdrop of nonconformist humour.
After ‘C’est pas grave’, Cie MF continues its reflection on these mottos of the French language, as empty of meaning as they are full of imagination.
