ÇA IRA OU PAS is a performance in the form of a danced lecture. The audience is invited to take part in the creative process and become part of it. The authors will share the themes the project is based on, and will translate the stage actions into gestures along with the audience. Starting from the expression Ça ira (from French – this will go) the pillars of the research will be space and time in relation to the state of presence. Although the choreographic project stands on abstractions, it wishes to come on stage in a transversal way, so that the performance can be accessible to anyone. In a process of learning by doing, the performers and spectators will share the stage space, where a right-angled triangle is inscribed (like an abstract geography of a common place). The participants will experience through their bodies, becoming protagonists of the theatrical action. In an open setup, time dilates and action may repeat itself infinitely. One step forward and one step back, in order to go towards an insignificant goal, giving semantic value to the path and not to the goal.
